The Pain Department of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital is a standing committee member unit of the Pain Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association and a vice chairman unit of the Pain Branch of the Shenzhen Medical Association. It has 2 outpatient consultation rooms, 2 treatment rooms, and 20 wards. It has 2 senior professional titles, 2 doctoral degrees, and 4 master's degrees. Its comprehensive strength in clinical, teaching, and scientific research ranks among the top in Shenzhen. In 2023, it was nominated for the Fudan edition of the South China Pain Specialist Hospital Reputation Ranking.

The department is equipped with Beiqi radiofrequency therapy device, low-temperature plasma multifunctional surgical system, multiple ultrasonic instruments, Italian PANAGI shock wave therapy system, German Carter ozone generator, internal heat needle therapy device, Japanese ultra short wave therapy device, etc. In addition to conventional treatments such as nerve block, tendon surface injection, medical ozone autologous blood therapy, trigger point acupuncture, joint cavity injection, PRP therapy, extracorporeal shock wave, small needle knife, internal heat needle, floating needle, cheek needle, etc., a series of image-guided pain intervention diagnosis and treatment techniques are also carried out in the operating room, DSA room, and CT room, such as DSA guided trigeminal ganglion radiofrequency surgery, intervertebral disc plasma radiofrequency ablation, spinal canal puncture catheterization, spinal nerve root pulse radiofrequency surgery, intrathecal morphine infusion system implantation, continuous sympathetic ganglion puncture catheterization, sympathetic nerve radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord electrical stimulator implantation, etc.
